Artist’s Note:

Black + White was an exploration of my ability to work in only two colors. Inspired by a photo of a woman doing a Diana Ross-style photoshoot, with bright white eyeliner and wide, captivating eyes, I challenged myself to bring this striking image to life. The result was a bold representation of Black beauty that transcends the need for color.
